It may be winter time but the children still love playing in the garden and get lots of benefits from outdoor play all through the year.
We encourage all parents and carers to make sure that their children bring warm coats, wellingtons, (and gloves, hats and scarves as necessary). The garden is grassed so it can be muddy at this time of year.
It is said that there is no such thing as unsuitable weather so long as clothing is suitable but we aim to take a common sense view and will not play outside in very heavy rain or extreme cold.
