The greatest inheritance we get from God is not His stuff. Its not His wisdom, or His glory or His riches or His power: all of which He definitely wants us to have. The greatest inheritance we get from God is His nature:
And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.
