Show me the money!

The English word “provision” literally means, it was there before you saw it (pro= before, vision= to see). In order to receive anything from God, we have to know its already done: pro-visioned:

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Mark 11:24

The key to receiving from God is seeing what was already provided. This is what Hagar discovered when she was dying of thirst:

And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water
Genesis 21:19

This is what Abraham understood when he went to give to God:

And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb…And Abraham  lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind [him] a ram caught in a thicket by his horns  …And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh
Genesis 22:8-14

In the Hebrew, Jehovahjireh means “God sees”, and by inference, that He provides. The truth is, provision is always available everywhere God is, and God is everywhere. There will always be springs even in the desert. The question is, do you have vision for the provision? Has the God who sees opened your eyes?
